Sorry, I’ve been gatekeeping 😅 I’ve visited some Sorry, I’ve been gatekeeping 😅

I’ve visited some incredible resorts so far in 2026, and in this episode I’m finally breaking them down from a destination wedding perspective.

Not just “was it pretty?”
Not just “did I like it?”
Not just “would I vacation there?”

But more importantly:

Would this work for a wedding group?
Who is it best for?
What kind of couple would love it?
What kind of guest list makes sense here?
And when would I not recommend it?

Because destination wedding resort selection is so much more than picking the prettiest beach.

In this episode, I’m finally breaking down the resorts I’ve visited so far in 2026 - but from a destination wedding perspective.

Because when I’m touring resorts, I’m not just asking, “Is this pretty?”

I’m asking:

Would this work for a wedding group?
Who is this resort actually best for?
What kind of guest list makes sense here?
Does the vibe match the price point?
Are the wedding spaces private and practical?
Would I feel confident recommending this to one of my couples?

This episode covers Garza Blanca, Hotel Mousai, Grand Velas, Casa Velas, Velas Vallarta, Secrets Mirabel, and UNICO 20°87°.

Your destination wedding resort needs to match your guest list, budget, priorities, and overall vibe - not just your Pinterest board.

In the newest episode of Breezy Brides, I’m breaking down the resorts I’ve visited so far in 2026 and who I think each one is actually best for.

🌴💍 Today’s the day! 💍🌴 After months of planning, 🌴💍 Today’s the day! 💍🌴

After months of planning, Caili & Adam are officially getting married at Armony Marival Punta de Mita ✨

We’re wishing them the most incredible wedding day. 🤍
Story time: one of my biggest destination wedding Story time: one of my biggest destination wedding regrets 😅

When I was planning my own destination wedding, I found my travel agent through a coworker. His wife owned a local travel agency and it felt like one of those “perfect timing” situations.

And honestly? She got the job done.

But looking back, I wish I would’ve done more research and chosen someone who truly specialized in destination weddings - not just someone who was convenient or connected to someone I knew.

Because your travel agent is not just booking rooms. They’re helping guide your guests, communicate deadlines, answer questions, manage travel logistics, and make the entire planning process feel less overwhelming.

So if you’re planning a destination wedding, let this be your sign to choose your travel agent intentionally.

Ask questions. Look for experience. Make sure they understand destination wedding groups. And don’t feel pressured to work with someone just because they were recommended by a friend, family member, or coworker.

I’m sharing this full story - plus 5 more regrets from my own destination wedding - on my podcast and linked in my bio.🎙️
